Welcome back Igloo Enthusiasts!
In our last update we learned a little bit about the steps that are involved when a graphic designer turns a drawing into a digital file (if you missed it click here). Over the past couple weeks Cross Country Canada looked at a few versions of artwork and experimented with some different colours and sizes of their logo. Eventually they approved the artwork and we were able to send the digital file to our fabric printer. It was an exciting moment for us at Sauce Headwear, because that meant the next step was to look at some fabric with the print on it!
Before a printer goes ahead and makes 10,000 pieces they want to make sure that their customer LOVES the way the print looks. Yesterday a sample swatch arrived at Sauce Headwear headquarters for our approval. It looked perfect and we decided to make a sample hat.
We would like to give you all a sneak peak of Elliott’s design and unveil the very first real sewn sample of the Igloo Toque!
There is still a LOT to be done before these toques are ready to ship, but we’re well on our way.
PS – Here’s a quick reminder that Sauce Headwear is currently offering Free Logos on all custom orders placed before July 15th. Orders can be for immediate delivery or for Fall delivery. Click here to learn more.
